How Payment Works

Step 1 — At Booking (40% Advance Payment) Guest pays 40% advance online to StayViable.
StayViable deducts its 15% commission from the total booking amount.
After 24 hours, the remaining advance amount (after commission) is transferred to the host as token money.

Step 2 — At Check-in (Remaining 60%) Guest pays the remaining 60% directly to the host at the time of check-in (Cash or UPI). StayViable has no involvement in this payment.

Example — ₹10,000 Booking:

Total Booking Amount	₹10,000
Guest pays Advance (40%)	₹4,000
StayViable Commission (15% of ₹10,000)	− ₹1,500
Host receives from advance (after 24 hrs)	₹2,500
Remaining paid at check-in (directly to host)	₹6,000
Host Total Earnings	₹8,500

Guest Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Time	Refund
Within 24 hours of booking	✓ 100% Full Refund
After 24 hours of booking	✗ No Refund
After Check-in	✗ No Refund

Refund will be processed within 5–7 business days via the same payment method used.
Cancellation must be done through the platform only — informing the host directly is not sufficient.
StayViable commission (15%) is non-refundable after 24 hours.

Host Cancellation Policy

If the host cancels a confirmed booking, the guest will receive a 100% full refund.
Hosts who cancel repeatedly may have their listing suspended or account terminated.
In case of emergency, the host must inform StayViable at least 24 hours in advance.

Dispute Resolution

First, the guest and host should try to resolve the issue directly.
If unresolved, contact StayViable — we will respond within 24 hours.
StayViable's decision will be final and binding for both parties.
